Japanese bronze Ryu Dragon fountain from Temizuya water basin Buddhist temple. In original conditions with nice patina and water marks from long usage, represented emerging in the act of griping the stone tub, form it's mouth sprinkling water would have purified visitors hands before accessing the temple space. Inner copper water tube still usable as fountain. The pedestal is a recent adaptation in order to hold the sculpture upright, Japanese sculpture.

Period:  1900 Meiji - Taisho era

Dimensions:  H 86 max W 43 cm, total weight 18 Kg + wrapping.

Conditions:  good
, some wear marks from long usage and time, not very stable on pedistal. please see photos.
