Antique Japan Oshitsu lacquered wood container 1800's hand craft

Antique Japanese oshitsu lacquered wood box container, used in Buddhist ritual during rice offerings at shrine and temples, medium conditions. Nice shape with hammered bronze protective plaques with light oxidation, wear from long usage and time.

Period: 1800s Edo era

Dimensions: H  47 Diam 41 cm, total weight 4.700 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: medium good, wear from long usage and time, lacquer flaking. Please see photos.
