Antique Japan master Kano Tanyu Buddhist painting 1650 Edo era craft.

Antique Japanese master Kano Tanyu (狩野探幽) ink scroll painting on paper, master hand, high sensibility in the lines, master use of light and space. Sumi-e ink technique painting, master seal visible on lower left side Yotan shape. Refined simple compositions of Kabu turnip Buddhist symbol. Restoration in early 1900, paper surface has been restored from antique erosion. Overall good conditions with wood protective wood case.

Period: 1650 - 1674

Dimensions: L 101 W 50 cm,  total weight 0.600 Kg + wrapping.

Conditions: medium good, wear from time and long exposure, professional restoration from early 1900. Please see photos.
