Antique Italian Baroque art devotional  Mary Magdalene 1600 embroidery wood frame

Antique XVII Century Italian Baroque devotional art, embroidery on silk with antique wood frame, painted details on silk surface, embroidered drapery and vegetation. Intricate metallic thread (silver, gold color). Most likely central Italian craft. The original frame in in poor conditions with antique glass still in place. Delicate conditions, to be handled with care.
The item is currently in Japan. 

Period: 1600 - 1700

Dimensions: embroidered area 35 x 31 cm, frame 46 x 40.5 cm, weight 1.580 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: delicate, extensive wear from time and handling, old insect erosion on frame. Please see detailed photos.
