Antique big Buddhist temple pray wish bronze bell Japan Wani-Guchi lost wax craft 1840

Antique Japanese Buddhist temple bell large size bronze bell, Wani-Guchi shape, dated 1840 year of the tiger  (天保十年寅年). Temple and patrons name carved on surface. Lost wax technique craft. Good conditions, some wear from time and exposure, no fractures. Historical item preserved with its original iron hand forged chains.

Period: 1840 dated Tempo era year of the tiger (天保十年寅年) Edo era


Dimensions: W 35 cm, thickness 13 cm, weight 9 Kg + wrapping.

Conditions: good, some wear from long usage, no fractures. Please see photos.
