Antique Japanese Buddhist temple chanting Taiko drum from Gifu aera shrine, painted skins with Ryu dragon on both sides with complete wood stand nice patina and iron metal fittings, well preserved with bone bachi hitter. Gold leafed cusp devided in 3 parts and some tips missing due to constant usage. Solid wood structure with all interlocking joints in good conditions, wear marks from long usage and drumming. Historical instrument in original conditions as found.
