Antique Hato dove wood sculpture from old Buddhist temple by Miya-Daiku wood master carving. Hato dove sculpture a traditional Japanese architectural supportive ornament wood carving used to ornate and reinforce temple architecture.

Hand carving from solid Japanese cedar tree wood block. Recently (1900 - 1950) placed in to wood frame made from old wood from temple structure. Medium good conditions, wear from time and long exposure. Antique Japanese rural Buddhist/Shinto sculpture.
