Antique Japan lamp Andon architecture 1880s lantern art craft.

Well preserved antique Japanese Andon lantern interior home, complete with night hood stand in original working conditions. Medium good conditions, some flaking of red lacquer.Iimmediately usable, with it's original ceramic lantern wick dish. Paper shades are recent restoration, all in order and functioning. The lamp can be utilized with it's double use shade or stand as in photos. Historical item all in original conditions, immediately usable. (additional images available on request)

Period: 1850 - 1890 late Edo early Meiji era

Dimensions:  total H 70, night stand H 41, base W 27  cm, total weight 1.580 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: medium good, some ware marks from long usage and time, all parts working. Please see photos
