Antique Samurai saddle Japan lacquered wood  Kura 1700

Antique Japanese Samurai saddle Kura, Made of 4 interlocking wood parts, once decorated with fine mother pearl fine pattern. Once held together by leather straps and laces today lost, old copper restorations. Poor conditions, extensive wear due to time and usage. In original conditions as found.  Historical horse riding tool.

Period: 1700 - 1800 mid Edo era

Dimensions: H 27 cm, weight 2.540 Kg + wrapping.

Conditions: poor, delicate, extensive wear from long usage and time, please see photos.
