Antique Japan Buddhist temple dragon Ryu painting 1700 Sumi-e ink art

Antique Japanese Buddhist zen temple art Ryu dragon Kano school painting. Zen Sumi-e ink art symbolising power energy and spiritual ascent, ink art technique on paper, fine professional restoration mounted on screen and dragon motif silk borders.

Signed on lower right by Buddhist temple monk Hogan Tsunenobu (法眼常信) 1636 - 1713. Painting title The rising dragon (昇龍之図)
Likley salvaged from antique temple sliding door panel. Very good conditions, light wear from time and usage, lacquered wood frame, synthetic pexy glass. Fine art decorative wall hanging Japanese historical item.
