Antique Japan drum Shime-Taiko Noh theater 1880s music instrument.

Japanese Noh theater drum Shime-Taiko, carved from single wood block with lacquer finishing, skins in good conditions still tense with adjustable ropes. Nice sound good conditions with Bachi hitters and wood stand. Immediately usable with its protective wood box.

Period: 1880 - 1900 Meiji era

Dimensions: skin Diam 34 cm, H 15 cm. Total weight 5.210 Kg + wrapping.

Conditions: good, some wear from long usage. Skin in goos conditions. Please see photos.
