Antique Japan book holder Hondana 1800s Japanese Edo craft.

Antique Japanese Hondana book holder for Tatami room reading, good conditions some wear from usage and time old restorations, made with interlocking parts witch all fit inside the bottom drawer. Clan Mon markings, lacquered surface with gold leaf applications. Good conditions, some wear from usage. Immediately usable with all parts as in photos.

Period: mid 1800
