Japan bear wood carving Ainu art Hokkaido 1950s rural hand sculpture.

Small Japanese wood hand carving of Hokkaido Kuma bear, carved from single wood block. Aging of the wood visible on surface, please see photos. No broken parts, well preserved. The carving comes from North of Japan Hokkaido.
