Japan modernist art oil painting nudo 1920 Yoga style Narashige Koide

Japanese modernist Yoga style master art woman in summer kimono with fan. Oil painting on canvas technique, intense brushstrokes. Young woman seated with Yukata summer Kimono and paper fan in its hand. Work attributed to Narashige Koide (小出楢重 1887 - 1931) exponent of Japanese Yoga style. Medium poor conditions, the canvas has been trimmed and stretched on very poor stretcher. Done by artist or by someone who wanted to fit it inside it's current frame. Wear from long exposure and time. In its original conditions as found.

Period: 1920 - 1930

Dimensions: canvas 81 x 65 cm, frame 99.5 x 84 x 7 cm. Total weight 4.740 kg + wrapping
