Antique Japan Katagami lamp shade paper 1900 stencil frog and rabbit Kōzan-ji  composition

Antique Japanese Katagami made for Andon Japanese lantern lampshade paper, inspired by Chōjū-giga 鳥獣戯画;"Animal Caricatures", Emakimono, Kōzan-ji temple in Kyoto. Medium good conditions, wear from usage and time. 2 stencil are mounted on one paper sheet. Total of 9 animal compositions + 2 inside one paper sheet. Immediately usable.

Period: 1900

Dimensions: single animal H 13 cm
