Antique bow Yumi Ito and Tsurumaki Kyudo Samurai 1900 Japan archery craft

Antique original Japanese Yumi archery Tsurumaki  Ito string folder for Kyudo art, hand made from thin sliced rattan strips and Urushi lacquer coating. Water buffalo horn powder holder. Nice craft, medium good conditions, some wear from usage and time. Original Ito string still held inside, no longer usable for archery. Antique Japan martial arts.

Period:  1880 - 1920

Dimensions: Diam 11 cm. Total weight 70g + wrapping
