Antique Japanese Byobu panel painting on paper mounted on 6 folding screens, watercolor on paper technique, gold leaf and silk frame. Idealized landscape Japanese gardens and architecture, Edo era characters, rural and aristocrats life among floating clouds of gold. Medium good conditions, some wear from time and usage, old restorations. Paper panels mounted on wood structure. Fine art decorative Japanese historical item.
