Antique Japanese Buddhist scroll shrine 1800 Imperial Japan

Antique Japanese Imperial scroll gold leaf with floral and phonex motif, watercolor and ink technique painting, Buddhist symbols bronze nobs. Restored in early 1900 on newer support, some wear from long and extensive usage. Nice patina, in original conditions as found.

Period: 1800 Edo era, early 1900 restoration

Dimensions: H 114 W 36 cm, total weight 180g + wrapping
