Rural Japan Hotei fortune deity bamboo stump carving sculpture 1900 hand craft

Japanese deity Hotey fortune god, carved from single bamboo stump, Wabisabi craft, nice character and patina. Good conditions, wood aging on surface. Nice bamboo carving.

Period: 1900 - 1930

Dimensions: H 16 cm, W 18 cm. Total weight 0.330 Kg + wrapping

Conditions:  good, some wear from time and age, wood aging on surface. Please see photos. ( additional images available on request)
