Antique Japanese drum Tsutsumi Taiko Noh theater 1880 hand craft instrument.

Fine art Japanese Noh theater historical drum Tsuzumi, carved from single hard wood block with lacquer finishing and Maki-e Japanese Matsu pine tree decoration, skins are in very good conditions and can stand tension with adjustable ropes. Nice sound in good conditions.  The instrument comes with protective wood case and ropes from original skin setting. Immediately usable.

Period: 1880 - 1900 Meiji era 

Dimensions: total H 28 cm, skin Diam 23 cm, total weight 3.150 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: good, some wear marks from usage, very well preserved, some wear on wood box. Please see photos.
