Antique Japan Fuji Yama dragon Sumi-e ink painting 1860 zen master.

Antique Japan Sumi-e ink art, fine hand Fuji mountain with rising Tatsu dragon from sea waves among clouds landscape, Zen art, Sumi-e ink and Fude technique, sealed and signed by 海素為筆 (poetical name) pupil of Fukushima Ryuho (福島柳圃). Very good conditions, recent professional restoration on new support preserving original paper painting, wood support and back inscription attached to bottom shaft. Extensive wear on antique paper surface, old restorations. Immediately usable with protective wood box.

Period: 1869 - 1890 late Edo early Meiji era

Dimensions: H 160 W 126 cm, inner paper 58 x 119 cm. Weight 0.920 Kg + wrapping
