Japan Buddhist bronze Obosan master chanting high pitch bells 1890s craft.

Antique Japanese very high  pitch bells for Buddhist monk Obosan chanting,  very nice craft, accurate hammering has harden the bronze giving these bells a very high pitch sound. Very nice dragon engravings on top surface immediately usable with wood protective box and dear skin straps. Interesting Buddhist instrument. Some wear from long usage.

Period:  1890 - 1900 Meiji era

Dimensions: Diam 7.5 cm, total weight 0.340 Kg + wood box and wrapping

Conditions: good, some wear marks from long usage and time, please see photos.
