Japanese Goban thick board Kaya wood Ischi stone and shell 1950s Japan high craft.

High quality Goban thick board game from solid block of Kaya wood in very good conditions immediately usable.  Set comes with it's Kiri wood covers and 2 sets of Ishi stone and white shell. Lacquered sides and bottom, Maki-e Karakusa spiral decoration. Very nice traditional Japanese Go game.

Period: 1950s

Dimensions: H 29.5  45 X 41.5 cm, total weight 20.130 kg + wrapping. Kaya board thickness 17 cm.

Conditions: very good, no wear marks from usage. Please see photos.
