Japan Nekotora tiger scroll art 1800 hand painted on paper Edo craft.

Antique Japanese tiger painting on paper, Fude and Sumi ink technique with water color. Nice composition, Nekotora tiger expressive and dynamic on a rock by river, above a Matsu pine tree. The scroll seems to had several old restorations in late 1800 and early 1900. On the painting surface there is visible a professional restoration done after the scroll was affected by fire will rolled up. Sealed and signed by artist on lower left. Immediately usable with it's original wood box.

Period: 1800 late Edo era

Dimensions: H 202 cm 80 inch. Weight 1.410 Kg + wrapping
