Antique Edo era Tansu furniture dated April 1852 from central Japan, wood in good conditions, all parts working. Sliding panels are decorated with silver leaf paper and bronze Hikite handles. Old restoration done throughout the years, such as the lacquer surface and the back side, old insect holes visible on lower back. Nice patina, no recent restoration made. Historical furniture.
