Antique Japanese Nekotora tiger scroll painting 1800s Japan Edo art.

Antique Japanese Nekotora tiger scroll painting on Washi paper, nice composition Fude brush and Sumi ink technique, nice rendering of fair and expressive tigers body. Artist seal visible on write side. The paper  was most probably intended for a Fusuma panel, reduced  in size in order to be accommodated on scroll in early 1900s. Very nice work of art. Immediately usable.

Period: 1800 - 1840 late Edo era

Dimensions: Total L 190 W 68 cm
