Antique bronze Koro Japan sculpture 1890 Japanese incense burner.

Antique Japanese bronze incense burner Koro shaped as Buddhist flaming Tama ball and prosperity  hummer symbol on the lid. Nice bronze alloy and patina, smaller decorations rendered with fine surface hammering. Very good conditions  light wear marks from usage visible, immediately usable.

Period: 1890 - 1900 Meiji era

Dimensions: H11.5 cm, 4/2 inch. Weight  0.500 kg + wood box and wrapping
