Antique Jyubako Japanese lacquered ceremonial food box 1890's Japan craft.

Nice antique Japanese lacquered wood Jyubako ceremonial food box with floral and animal Maki-e decorations. Ornamental decoration is repeated on all sides and lids with Matsu pine, Sakura flowers with turtles and crane birds. Total of 5 sections and 2 lids in order to always have content covered wile serving. Well preserved, some wear from usage visible one of the lids has restoration an wood expansion fracture. With original external wood box with wear. Immediately usable.
