Antique Japanese Ohira lacquered wood box for ceremonial use, very well preserved with family Mon symbol on lid, hammered bronze protective plaques and silk rope. Unusual big size offering container. Nice lacquer wear with original wood protective box.

Period: 1800's late Edoi era

Dimensions: Ohira H 49 Diam 41 cm, total weight including external box 11.900 Kg + wrapping

Conditions: good, light wear visible, light oxidation on bronze plaques. Wear on protective wood box. Please see photos.
